According to reports, MTV has cast two lead actors in the planned remake of Teen Wolf, hiring 28-year-old Michael Pitt and 21-year-old Elissa Sursara as Scott Howard and Boof. Recent reports claim the network has organized for a series pilot to be filmed.

Pitt, made famous by his role in his role as the lover of a transgendered rocker in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, also fronts the rock band Pagoda while Sursara, a newcomer, is less notable. The 21-year-old, who was recently subject to rumors of a feud with TRANSFORMERS star Isabel Lucas, has been confused with Mexican model Katarina Vargas in image search results and is perhaps more notable for her work with animal rights thus far.
