Hi Maude, What’s going on?

So right now I’m in front of this green screen and we’re doing this muck up parody, Do you know the Guitar Hero film clip? Yeah yeah, M: “Kinda like that!”

Can you tell us a little about your new TV Show?

It’s called the Pursuit, airing this Sunday 4.30PM on Channel Nine, It will be airing every week. It’s kind of like the Amazing Race but taking the best parts of that and making it Australian and also adapting to sort of the technology standards that we are at, at the moment. So with the challenges there will be a lot of the new technology, So you’ll have a DSI console with the internet so you will be able to help out with the clues and challenges.

Is the new TV show only based in Australia?

Just the capitol cities of Australia, Brisbane – the gold coast, Sydney, Melbourne and the finals in Canberra. We pick up contestants from their capital cities so hoping they know about their cities because the clues will be somewhere in their capital city, So if they don’t know anything about where they are from It would kind of suck!

No more Nickelodeon?

Well I’ve had 3 ½ incredible years at there, 4 camp oranges, 3 orange carpets. Kyle moved onto Channel V. To tell you the truth Kyle’s like my best friend in the entire world so doing Nickelodeon without him is kind of a little bit empty I suppose so this time around this is a chance for me to be an adult again to go into free-to-air television which is the step every television wants to go to.

Which websites do you frequent?

YouTube, Big YouTube fan if anyone recommends anything I always check it out for a bit of a laugh. I am obviously into my twitter, I’ve jumped onto that bandwagon hard, I check it everyday *laughs*.

I also look up the news, I also have to look up the Daily Telegraph everyday to get my scope on the news. I’m a big fan for eBay and Amazon, I like to read a lot of books, I’m also a massive gamer.

When your not infront of a camera hosting a TV show what do, you do in your spare time?

I’ve just moved to a new house, Eamon Sullivan is my roommate. So we chill out quite a lot. It’s funny because I’ve seen a different side to him that no one else does see like I get to experience his cooking obviously he is on master chef so I get to taste some of his exceptional cooking, although I’m the one who has to clean it up!

My little beautiful dog Bella lives there also, and I play video games a lot ! I am such a nerd, I’m such a geek.

Who has been your favourite person to interview over the years?

Far out I’ve interviewed Avril Lavinge, Ben Stiller, Jerry, Chris Rock, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, Zac Efron, The Veronicas, Good Charlotte, ect ect. Out of those the best Cameron Diaz – I know you’ve met her haven’t’ you?

She just glows! When you’re around her you feel so warm and you just want to smile all the time nothing is a problem for her. I taught her how to burp, she was so open and warming and she offered the best advice which was “always keep appreciating things and never feel like you deserve anything in life. Because if you constantly appreciate things life is so much more rewarding” and I’ve totally taken that on board!

The worst person I’ve ever interviewed…

Probably Avril Lavigne have you? We didn’t know she was waiting outside the hotel room (we being Kyle & I). To warm up, get in the mood for the interview we usually sing a song really loudly and badly, so that day we decided to sing Kings of Leon’s ‘Encore’ So we’re belting it and out of tune thinking it’s the funniest thing we’ve ever done and she’s outside got her fingers in her ear saying “OMG, Can someone shut them up – they suck?” I had no idea that she said that until after the interview, wasn’t really a fan of picking her nose – that sort of stuff so it was just me picking my nose infront of her looking like an absolute fool but whatever.

Favourite TV shows?

I’m not watching as much TV anymore, I’m hearing about the Vampire Diaries – I’d like to get into that because I’ve been reading a lot of Vampire books lately.

Three random facts that not everybody knows:

1. I have a gigantic 26 scars down the side of my left leg in the shape of the seven that is a year old. Bit of an accident because I’m paying for it with this scar.
2. I can’t stand my name Maude, but my mum loves it!
3. I am writing a fantasy book – I’m talking like elves and ridiculous creatures.
