Delta Goodrem to Host Nickelodeon Kid Choice ’09
Earlier today Nickelodeon Australia announced that award-winning Aussie singer songwriter Delta Goodrem will be the glittering Host of this year’s Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards which is set to dominate the Hisense Arena in Melbourne on Friday 13th November which will hit airwaves nationally on Nickelodeon from 7.00pm.
After the announcement was made Delta told press “I’m so thrilled that Nickelodeon has given me the honour of being this year’s Host, because I know first hand that the Kids’ Choice Awards ROCK! It’s a great chance to let your inner kid loose and just have fun. Previous hosts have set the bar high and although I can’t reveal just yet who my Co-Hosts will be, I can promise kids that this year the stage is going to be even bigger, better, and bursting with sneaky, slimy surprises… I can’t wait!“
So far this year’s line up includes Aussie favourites Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Cassie Davis.
According to reports negotiations are taking place for Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to put in an appearance at the awards.
