Nick Jonas: Solo Ambitions
Surprising many of his fans, Nick Jonas will be joining a new band called Nick Jonas & The Administration.
The 17-year old and the band will start off on a 14-city tour that begins January 2 and will drop the new album on February 2.
And although the youngest of the Jonas Brothers may be stepping out on his own, that does not mean an end to the family band.
“This is something that can definitely co-exist with the Jonas Brothers,” he says. “I’ve never really stood center stage before. It’s going to be different but I’m looking forward to it.”
And both brothers, Kevin and Joe, will be in the audience supporting his performance.
Nick Jonas & The Administration will include three members or Prince’s New Power Generation, as well as John Fields, who is the Jonas Brothers’ producer on bass. The band is hoping for some funk R & B rock style.
