Teaming up for another day’s work, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were busy shooting a colorful scene for the forthcoming season of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Tuesday.
Both decked out in bright yellow-dominated ensembles, the scenes also involved two new characters – both of whom wore keys around their neck matching Leighton’s Blair Waldorf character.
In related news, recent reports from EW tell that Miss Lively’s character is getting a new love interest in actor Sam Page.
While Page’s first episode will air sometime in October, the hit CW show’s fourth season begins in September.

August 11th :: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: “Gossip Girl” Romance
Teaming up for the day’s work efforts, Blake Lively and Penn Badgely were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll through Central Park in New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
Also stopping for a healthy green lunch, the real life couple happened to be filming scenes for the upcoming season of “Gossip Girl” – which kicks off on The CW on September 13th.
Meanwhile, there are rumblings claiming the Miss Lively is nearing the end of her tenure on the show which brought her to stardom.
An unnamed source told Heat magazine, “Blake has asked producers to kill off her character. She’s tired of working on the show. It was great at the beginning, but she’s started to get bored of her storylines and all the petty fights on set.“
The insider added, “Nearly all the cast members have had some kind of bust-up. Besides the fact that she gets to work with her boyfriend [Penn Badgley, who plays Dan Humphrey], Blake wants to leave.“
July 29th :: Chace Crawford & 50 Cent Premiere “Twelve”
Stepping out for a swanky evening, Chace Crawford and 50 Cent were spotted at the premiere of their new movie “Twelve” in New York City last night.
The “Gossip Girl” stud and the “In Da Club” rapper both looked snazzy as they posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet outside the Landmark Sunshine Theatre.
Also in the house were stars like Chace’s CW costars Blake Lively, Jessica Szohr, and Michelle Trachtenberg along with hottie Irina Shayk.
And for everyone who’s excited to see “Twelve,” it won’t be too much longer- it hits theaters August 6th.
July 15th :: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester: All’s Fine and Well
Hard at work in New York City, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester paired up for “Gossip Girl” filming duties on Wednesday afternoon.
The Serena Van der Woodsen actress and her Blair Waldorf co-star seemed to be getting along quite well, which comes contrary to reports that the pair have been feuding.
Of the supposed bickering babes, an insider told Us magazine that Blake and Leighton have “been fighting since last season.”
The Us insider continued to erroneously tell, “Their rivalry stems from Leighton feeling left out of wardrobe decisions.”
Saying that this just isn’t the case, a close friend of both Leighton and Blake tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth” to the report, adding that the CW co-stars get along just fine.
July 15th :: Blake, Chace, and Leighton: Rainy Day Work Delay
Trying their best to crank out new episodes of “Gossip Girl,” Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, and Leighton Meester were all spotted on the set in New York City today.
The CW stars braved the rainy weather as they stood underneath umbrellas while waiting for the rain to stop so that they could shoot a scene in the Upper West Side locale.
In related news, Leighton recently confessed to being a text addict, having learned to send text messages very quickly during her workdays.
“I am very fast. That’s mainly because I text so much. I am a text addict. It is often what I end up doing when I’m on set and have to be really quiet – I text. I have gotten really, really good and it is really sad! I use all those abbreviations too.”
July 14th :: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: PDA in the Big Apple
Enjoying a leisurely romp around the Big Apple, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively showed a little PDA while in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Tuesday.
The “Gossip Girl” co-star couple walked hand in hand before stopping to share a passionate smooch as passerbys ogled at the young stars.
The NYC stroll comes as the two recently reunited after Blake spent the past few weeks filming the opening season 4 material in Paris.

July 11th :: Leighton and Blake’s Last Day in the City of Lights
Adding a little color to the streets in Paris, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were looking glamorous while partaking in “Gossip Girl” filming duties on Avenue Montaigne on Friday.
Having been situated in the French locale over the past week, the Blair Waldorf babe and her Serena van der Woodsen co-star busily shot scenes on the last day of filming in the City of Lights.
As for their often over-the-top ensembles, Leighton recently admitted that they can sometimes be a bit embarrassing.
She dishes, “It’s fun to dress up, much better than having boring clothes, but it can be challenging because I know I have to walk down the street in a ball gown sometimes.”
Continuing on, Miss Meester tells, “People point at me and say ‘Who is that crazy person?’ I just have to try and ignore it.”

Continuing along with quite the busy schedule, Blake Lively was spotted arriving to the Ritz hotel in Paris, France on Tuesday.
Following a long day on the set of “Gossip Girl,” the lovely actress looked magnificent as she readied to partake in a Vogue photo shoot session.
The previous day, Miss Lively capped of a day of filming by hitting up day one of Paris Fashion Week’s F/W 2011 festivities.
The 22-year-old took a front row seat at the Christian Dior show, sitting alongside esteemed Vogue Editor-In-Chief, Anna Wintour.
July 7th :: “Gossip Girl” Stars: Another Day in Paris
They kicked off their Season 4 filming schedule yesterday and earlier today the stars of “Gossip Girl” were spotted hard at work in Paris, France.
Ed Westwick, Blake Lively, and Clemence Poesy all showed up on the outdoor set to shoot a few scenes while residents of the City of Lights looked on.
And it sounds like the CW cast members are doing more than just work during their time in Paris.
Miss Lively took full advantage of 2010 Paris Fashion Week yesterday as she attended the Dior Fall/Winter 2010/11 runway show yesterday.
July 6th :: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester: Pretty in Paris
Getting to work on new material for season four of their hit CW show, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester paired up in Paris, France on Monday.
Swapping in and out of various ensembles, the lovely ladies strolled around the City of Lights as “Gossip Girl” crew members captured all of the action.
The work duties come as Miss Meester has been busy overseas filming a new movie alongside Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy called “Monte Carlo“.
She also was able to sneak in a bout of retail therapy on Sunday, hitting the shops with a group of friends including model Jessica Stam.
May 11th :: Blake Lively’s Fitness Secrets
She’ s one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood, and Blake Lively gets her super sexy form – including those gorgeous gams – through lots of hard work.
The “Gossip Girl” babe’s trainer Bobby Strom told press it’s no wonder his client looks so good because she’s extremely dedicated.
“She always looks good,” he explained. And for her “Green Lantern” gig they’ve stepped things up a bit. “She has to do stunts, so we’re focusing on core and strength training.”
Strom also noted Blake’s penchant for Greek food. “You would not believe what she could consume. The Greek fest that she made… crepes with cream cheese in them… we could only eat half of it. She ate all of hers and then went back and ate somebody else’s half.”

May 5th :: 2010 Costume Institute Gala: A Star-Studded Affair
Bringing out the biggest names in show business, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City was the place to be on Monday night. Gracing the red carpet were cute couples such as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Sienna Miller and Jude Law, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.
Looking absolutely stunning, the ladies of Tinseltown were out in full force, with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, Jessica Szohr, Abbie Cornish, Alessandra Ambrosio, Camilla Belle, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker among those on-hand.
As for the event, the Costume Institute Gala was hosted by Patrick Robinson of The Gap, with co-hosts Oprah Winfery and Anna Wintour helping out.
During the fancy fete, the association is celebrating the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition.
March 9th :: “Gossip Girl” Stars: Hard at Work
Working ever so hard on their hit CW show, the cast of “Gossip Girl” was spotted in New York City over the weekend.
Leading the charge, Blake Lively transformed into her Serena van der Woodson character to shoot several scenes before taking a break to hang out with her tiny dog and grab a snack.
A handsome Penn Badgley, studly Chace Crawford, long-haired blonde Michelle Trachtenberg and adorable Leighton Meester were also spotted on set, following orders from the show’s director.
The new series of Gossip Girl will return to Aussie television in April 2010.
February 3rd :: Blake Lively: Bundled Up Beauty
Braving the chilly weather, Blake Lively was spotted making her way to the “Gossip Girl” set in New York City on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old actress donned a stylish wintertime ensemble complete with a bright blue scarf, ready to run through the day’s scenes.
As for her gig “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” Blake confessed that she was quite intimidated to work with Maria Bello and Julianne Moore.
“I was honestly terrified. I hadn’t slept that much, and all I wanted that day was for Maria to say, ‘Wow, great job’. And when she didn’t say anything to me, I thought, oh, my gosh, I’m terrible. She hates it. She’s calling her agent, saying, ‘What have you gotten me into?’”
“But once we finished filming, she was so complimentary and sweet. The way Maria worked was very method, and then [co-star] Julianne Moore was the complete opposite – between takes, she was a nice, normal mom talking about her kid’s baseball games. Then you would call ‘Action’, and suddenly she’s playing this creepo photographer! It freaked me out.”
January 14th :: “Gossip Girl” Stars Celebrate Book Launch
They’re always up for a good time, and last night the stars of “Gossip Girl” were in the house for their costume designer Eric Daman’s book launch.
Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Ed Westwick all helped Daman kick off the release of “You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence” at the Henri Bendel Fifth Avenue boutique.
Even “The City” starlet Olivia Palermo stopped by to check out the shindig and throw down a few poses for the paparazzi.

She’s definitely known for her sex appeal on “Gossip Girl,” but Blake Lively says her sex scene in “The Town” is anything but arousing.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” babe explained, “I have a sex scene in this film and that’s never comfortable.”
She continued, “You think, ‘Oh, that’s going to be so awkward.’ But this scene isn’t supposed to be a steamy one- it’s sort of tragic… I’m pretty much crying in it.”
As for her sexpot Serena character, “I can snap into Serena very easily. The way I dress as Serena is pretty much the way I dress as me. I’m living in New York City, shooting in New York City. I’m in a comfort zone.”

Cranking out a new episode of their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were spotted on location in Uptown Manhattan earlier today.
Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, and Jessica Szohr all reported for duty despite the recent drop in temperatures in the Big Apple.
And of course, all three CW stars were provided with plenty of winter wear to keep warm in between scenes while the paparazzi looked on.
Coming up very soon, “Gossip Girl” will be returning with all new episodes filled with plenty of sexual tension and drama.

December 10th :: “Gossip Girl” Stars Take Over NYC
Hard at work on their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were out in full force as they shot scenes in New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
Among the CW crew on hand were lovely ladies including Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen and the adorable Jessica Szohr, as well as the show’s hunks Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley and Kevin Zegers.
After Monday night’s episode, “Gossip Girl” is currently on hiatus until further notice, with the CW placing “Life UneXpected” in its timeslot beginning on January 18.
Nonetheless, the new episodes should be packed with drama – as Serena and Nate look to be hooking up (again) while Blair and Serena seem to be heading towards a big fight.

December 7th :: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: SNL Party Lovers
Finished up with her SNL duties, Blake Lively headed off to the show’s afterparty at Abe and Arthur’s restaurant in New York’s Meatpacking District on Saturday night.
Joined by her “Gossip Girl” co-star beau Penn Badgley, the Serena van der Woodsen actress bundled up for the cold winter weather – still managing to look stylish in her Christian Louboutin mesh shoe boots.
During her SNL appearance, Miss Lively joined in on a mock CNN report poking fun at the headline-dominating Tiger Woods debacle.
With Blake portraying Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, and Kenan Thompson doing his best Tiger impression – the sketch saw Woods continuously trying to apologize while putting his foot in his mouth and angering his wife as the camera cut away.
December 4th :: Blake Lively’s Career Questions
Ready to spend more time in the world of movies, Blake Lively was ready to appear with Julianna Moore, Robin Wright, and Maria Bello in “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”
But a part that involved the Gossip Girl star in underwear made her rethink if this was right for her career.
The 22-year-old said, “It was an odd thing to do but really funny. There was a point when I was crawling on all fours and Julianne was like ‘purr for me’ and I thought ‘what am I doing with my life? I’ve finally got the most respectable job of my career yet I’m being leashed up and asked to purr. But Julianne is such a wonderful, kind and happy person so that made it easy to feel safe crawling around leashed up.”
And one thing Lively loves to do is keep busy, even with friends encouraging her to take a break. “I always have to keep myself really really busy and I can’t stop. All my friends are like ‘oh you don’t need to do something right now, just take a day for yourself. Take a couple of minutes to sit down; you don’t have to do all that.’ My biggest problem is I fill my life with too much business that I don’t need to worry myself with.”
But it’s in the actresses’ nature, growing up with four other siblings, although she doesn’t expect any children of her own anytime in the future soon. “Seeing my parents have their hands full, it was in my nature to want to make the people around me happy.”

Braving the chilly New York City weather, Penn Badgley, Jessica Szohr , and Chace Crawford were all spotted on the set of “Gossip Girl” this morning.
The CW stars all looked focused as they prepped to shoot scenes on location on Columbus Avenue in Uptown Manhattan, sporting winter coats as they chatted with each other.
Gossip Girl is back on air down under this month only on FOXTEL though, FOX 8 to be exact. Make sure you tune in and watch Season 2 all over!
November 20th :: “Gossip Girl” Stars: Early Morning Workers
Filming scenes for their hit CW show, the “Gossip Girl” gang was spotted in New York City early Wednesday morning.
Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick were all dressed to the nines and gathered on the streets of the Big Apple to begin shooting the early morning scenes.
Ms Meester seemed to be bright eyed even though she was spotted out last night with co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg, at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party.
In related news, Leighton recently opened up about her newly-released video for “Somebody to Love” featuring Robin Thicke, saying, “It’s basically going through … a sexy day in my life. We start off in the car, we come in, I keep on fantasizing and dreaming that I’m with somebody I can love.”
November 17th :: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: Pippa Lee Pals
They’re always up for a good time, and last night Blake Lively and Penn Badgley ended out their weekend with a swanky movie premiere and after-party.
The “Gossip Girl” costars/real-life couple hit up the AMC 19th Street in New York City for the premiere of “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”
And both Penn and Blake were dressed to impress as they arrived at The Cinema Society and A Diamond is Forever-hosted event, stopping to pose for the paparazzi before heading inside.
Afterwards, the CW couple headed off to the ACE Hotel nearby for the exclusive after-party festivities.

Getting back to work on her hit CW show, Blake Lively was spotted on location for “Gossip Girl” in midtown Manhattan on Monday
The Serena van der Woodsen actress looked stylish and in high spirits as she cheerfully laughed while shooting a few early morning scenes along the Big Apple streets.
The “Gossip Girl” duties come after a weekend of working in Boston, as Blake is also in the midst of filming the Ben Affleck directed movie “The Town”.
Meanwhile, you can catch Blake and her “Gossip Girl” co-stars in action in an all-new episode airing tonight at 9/8C on the CW.
Titled “They Shoot Humphrey’s, Don’t They”, the latest installment’s synopsis tells: “Not satisfied with just being Queen of Constance Billard, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) sets her sights on becoming the Queen of all the Upper East Side by landing the hottest escort for Cotillion. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) plot to help Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) repair their damaged friendship. Dan (Penn Badgley) is upset when Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) contemplates leaving school for a movie project.”
November 9th :: Blake Lively: Back to Work in Boston
Getting back to work on her new movie project, Blake Lively was spotted on the set of “The Town” in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday afternoon .
Aside from chatting on her cell phone in between takes, the “Gossip Girl” actress looked to have thoroughly enjoyed a friendly visit from her adorable little co-workers during the course of the day’s duties.
In related news, Miss Lively recently revealed to Marie Claire that her mum enrolled her in the first grade at the young age of 3-years-old.
“When I was only 3 years old, my mom enrolled me in the first grade. My older brother was supposed to start school, but he didn’t want to go alone, so my mom told them I was 6 since I was so tall. But after a few weeks, they said they would have to put me in mentally disabled classes because I wasn’t up to pace with the rest of the kids,” she explains.
Miss Lively continues, “They thought that I was slow because all I wanted to do was sleep while the other kids were doing their projects. So my mom took me out of school. I kind of feel like I grew up at Disneyland,” Blake explained. “My mum would take me there twice a week. I did well in school, so I guess my mum just wanted to have some extra time to bond with me. Sometimes, when I was older, she’d keep me out till one in the morning. We only stayed out late on weekends. We’d get a hotel room and then go to Denny’s, drink coffee, and talk for hours.”
Nonetheless, everything turned out for the best, as Blake tells, “I’ve always been a night owl. Even at home, we’d stay up all night talking. My mum tells the most amazing stories. In a way, she was kind of raising me to be a great actress without even realizing it.”
