Looking as if time apart from one another did no good in mending their relationship, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are officially no longer an item.
After announcing a break – which came nearly one and a half years after their engagement – Miss Bilson’s rep confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, the engagement is off.”
With Rachel’s rep unwilling to delve into details, sources tell People magazine that their different locales proved to be quite the problem.
“It just wasn’t working out,” Bilson’s pal tells, adding that the former “OC” star now finds herself “focusing on her career, spending time with her family and just moving forward.“

Always held during France’s annual Cannes Film Festival, the AIDS Benefit, which raises money for AIDS research, is a black-tie event and features a cocktail reception, dinner, and live auction.
