Gearing up for another big performance, Rihanna was spotted making a grand exit from her New York City hotel on Wednesday.
The “Love the Way You Lie” singer strolled past fans and photogs out to an awaiting ride, revealing her new tattoo on her neck reading “Rebelle Fleur“.
As for the day’s agenda, Rihanna will be taking the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT later this evening for one of her “Last Girl On Earth” tour shows.
From there, it’s back to the Big Apple, as RiRi and opening acts Ke$ha and Travie McCoy will be taking their hit concert to Madison Square Garden on Thursday, August 12th.
August 7th :: Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie” Video
Making for quite the anticipated release, Eminem and Rihanna launched their new music video for “Love the Way You Lie” on MTV on Thursday night.
Instantly becoming quite the hit, the passionate video features appearances by Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan – with the pair sharing a steamy smooch as Eminem and Rihanna sang in the background.
Talking about the video, Monaghan recently told MTV News, “I think we tried as hard as we could to not glorify the violence, to try and explain that this was a relationship that is by no means ideal and a relationship that probably should have ended a lot sooner than it did. The concept of ‘Love the Way You Lie’ was essentially a look at the relationship that Eminem was in with his wife, Kim, so I kind of felt like I was playing Eminem a little bit, and Megan Fox was kind of playing Kim.“
“It’s the story of them getting to know each other, and it’s the story of their tumultuous relationship, and it was the story of the breakdown of their relationship,” Dominic continued. “Ultimately, what I think he’s trying to say in the song … is that he should have walked away a little bit quicker than he did and not let it get as messy as it did.”
August 2nd :: Rihanna and Ke$ha Roll Through Miami
Pushing ahead with their North American “Last Girl On Earth” tour, Rihanna and Ke$ha spent Saturday night entertaining fans in Miami, Florida.
The “Russian Roulette” singer and her “Backstabber” opening act both took their turns onstage as the American Airlines arena crowd enjoyed the energetic performances.
From here, Rihanna and Ke$ha are getting a much needed four day break before heading up north for two shows in Canada.
Hitting Toronto and Montreal on August 5 and 7th, the pair will then make their way back to the States before closing things out at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse, NY on August 28th.
August 2nd :: Rihanna Announces “Last Girl on Earth” 2011 Australian Tour
Earlier today Urban sensation Rihanna announced that her “Last Girl on Earth” tour was heading down under in 2011.
The Barbadian hit-maker is scheduled to take on Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth from Feb 25th – March 12th.
The “Umbrella” singer is currently on tour in the US after a sold out European tour, will bring with her full World Tour production, featuring an incredible near two-hour show featuring multiple impressive theatrical production and set changes, a full band, acrobats, dancers and outrageous outfits – delivering the massive tracks from throughout her four album career.
Tickets on general sale 9am Friday August 20.
July 23rd :: ARIA Awards 2010 Set to Take Over Sydney Opera House
For the first time in its history, the ARIA Awards (the biggest event on the Australian music industry calendar) will be held at Sydney’s most iconic landmark the Sydney Opera House and are scheduled to rock out on Sunday, 7 November.
The Opera House promises to be turned inside out as Network Ten takes us live to the Opera House Forecourt and Concert Hall for the 2010 ARIA Awards where viewers will witness as unique a broadcast as ever with eleven Awards, six performances, incredible production values and a stellar backdrop that promises to deliver a potent mix of excitement and “must see TV”
Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Kylie Minogue will all be back in town just in time for the annual music event which could see any or even all three of the artists performing at the event.

July 20th :: Rihanna and Eminem Gear Up for Video Shoot
They are both extremely successful music artistsso it only makes sense that Rihanna and Eminem join forces to shoot a video for their hit song, “Love the Way You Lie.”
Music director Joseph Kahn confirmed the news via Twitter and wrote, “Got off a call. Emergency music video. Gonna write and turn in a treatment in three hours to shoot asap.”
He continued, “Video is gonna happen. Lots of work to do now. Did I say three hours? I f—ing lied. Finished and sent. 45 minutes. FTW. Video is awarded. Starts shooting Tuesday. Eminem & Rihanna. Off we go!“
Of the instantly popular song, Rihanna said, “It’s really beautiful, and it really stands out. It’s a really unique record. I’m really excited about it.”
July 6th :: Rihanna: Soundcheck Sexy
Kicking off another string of scheduled performances, Rihanna was spotted leaving her Vancouver hotel to head to a soundcheck session on Sunday afternoon.

There for a short promotional tour for her new album “Rated R,” the “Umbrella” singing beauty was presented a bouquet of flowers as she was ushered through the terminal.
The trip to Sydney follows a visit to Seoul, South Korea – where the Barbadian beauty held a few events to boost interest in her album and greet fans. Prior to Seoul, RiRi was busy living it up in southern Florida – where she took part in teh numerous pre-Super Bowl festivities.

Ready to ring in 2010, the stars have been traveling about the globe to reach their New Year’s Eve party destinations.
Among this year’s fetes are numerous Sin City soirees, with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden holding court at Lavo nightclub while 50 Cent and the Black Eyed Peas will also be hosting their own celebrations at Pure and LAX respectively.
